You are above it all, but so good at being up there, that you can still see most people at eye level, even while looking down on them … you are an Independent.
And listen, Americans, my God, Vlad assured me in Helsinki they had nothing to do with our elections. I told everybody this in a powerful speech I gave while I was over there in Norway. That should have been the end of it right there. But, no, the lying, stinking, fake media had to keep reporting about it so that Mueller wouldn’t ejaculate me.
I also want to say right here and right now I will not be firing Kellyanne for hatching any acts. It’s her job to hatch acts!! She hatches things all the time around here and most of them are very clever.
Trump’s performance in the Rose Garden was so pathetic, so unhinged and so completely over the top, a 100-year wilt began and the poor, poor roses needed to immediately be replanted someplace warmer, like Helsinki.
Trump and his evil, anti-American minions calculated that even if the story being reported at the time was 100 percent accurate, if an “enemy of the people” delivered it, it could not be trusted.
The truth is, the vast majority of this country is outraged. That we are feeling a bit helpless in the face of the Trump Dictatorship makes us Americans. We know evil when we see it. We know abhorrent, complicit and covering behavior when we smell it.
We know right from wrong.
The notion Trump gives a single shit about our country or even his party should have been completely extinguished in Helsinki when it was clear to anybody with working eyes and ears that he was, as Clinton warned us, “Putin’s puppet.”
It had taken only hours for the angry man to confirm what the majority of this country already knew: He was completely unfit to be president.
It’s now safe to say there will be no patriotic moment when McConnell, Graham, Romney or Collins take to the Senate floor, grab hold of the truth and lift it toward the sky. They have anchored themselves to their base and decided to take a breather knowing it would be impossible to go any lower. How freeing for them. They have flipped the keys to Trump knowing full well he will drive through every stop sign put in place by the architects of this imperfect, Democratic maze and wreck this country.
So Mueller, the crime-fighting, conservative Republican, quietly sealed his envelopes and watched from the sidelines while one of the most important, hotly contested Midterm Elections in history took shape.
Meantime, of course, Trump was thundering across the countryside with all the grace of a 360-pound, sleep-deprived dry drunk looking for love in all the wrong places.
